Log v1.11: big work on performances, it should be better to have big army :) some bug fixing as well.

In a world bathed in pure light, where every being lived peacefully, an army of dark beings appeared suddenly, bringing chaos with them. Planning to destroy the source of all light force, the dark forces created a canon with immense power, capable of wiping out all that is good in this world. The light beings gathered up to face those evil powers in the hopes of saving their world. Will you be the light that purges the darkness? The world's safety is in your hands.
Gameplay
In ECLIPSE, your goal is to collect Soul Pearls to let you create more soldiers to defeat the dark forces. To do so, you will need to defeat some enemies and collect the Soul Pearls with your sword units, while at the same time focusing on clicking the Souls Bouton to gain some more. With those souls, you will be able to create 3 different units:
- Sword Class : Fights in close range and can pick up the Soul Pearls
- Mage Class : Only attacks at a distance, making him good to hit from afar, but is vulnerable in close combat
- Spiritual Class : The most costly class, but capable of charging a devastating long rage attack that will hit multiple enemies
Additionally, you will be able to improve your units with those resources! Be careful to manage well your souls to win the war for the world!

ECLIPSE was created in Godot. All art, assets, animations as well as music and most of the sound effects were done during the week long Jam.
This game was made for the Major Jam 6 : Life.

really cool game, I love the artstyle!
If I may ask: how did you do that Kingdom-like water effect? Is it SSR on a plane in the 3d engine or did you find a way to do it in the 2d engine?

i made it with a shadermaterial in colorRect (in godot), it's a duplication of screen texture.
